Job summary

DPR Construction seeks a seasoned Senior Construction Manager to lead field operations across multiple projects, aligning planning, scheduling and execution with client objectives while managing cross-functional teams and advancing safety standards on higher education sites.

We require a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and 7+ years in field engineering or construction management, with 2–4 years in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification within 6 months of hire required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the field operations function and individuals to drive excellence in performance and talent development across functions with significant influence.
• Orchestrates, develops, and empowers multiple field teams and emerging leaders, ensuring integration with overall project strategy and client objectives.
• Oversees cross-functional collaboration among project managers, subcontractors, self-perform team, and suppliers, proactively addressing complex challenges.
• Implements and audits safety, quality, and compliance programs, driving continuous improvement and accountability across all field operations.
• Leads evaluation and integration of field documentation, productivity metrics, cost reports, and incident trends for leadership.
