Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Smyrna, GA is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead advanced residential HVAC service, repair, and installation while developing a team of technicians. You’ll coordinate with dispatch, monitor performance, and uphold high workmanship and customer experience in a founder-led environment.

You’ll shape operations, manage KPIs, and partner with ownership to drive profitability and growth in the Cumberland, Vinings, and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of residential HVAC service experience with leadership duties.
• Strong diagnostic and technical skills and ability to mentor staff.
• Demonstrated business acumen linking field performance to profitability.
• EPA 608 Certification required; NATE preferred where possible.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced diagnostics, service, repair, maintenance, and installation on residential HVAC systems.
• Leads and mentors technicians; guides technical issues, workmanship, and customer communication.
• Coordinates with dispatch/management for efficient scheduling and job completion.
• Handles escalated service calls and on-site problem resolution.
• Reviews safety, quality, and adherence to standards; maintains compliance.
• Recruits, trains, and evaluates new technicians; supports career progression.
• Monitors KPIs and helps refine pricing and operational workflow.
• Reviews job-costing and P&L data to improve profitability.
