Job summary

System One is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead field operations for multiple commercial construction projects in the Denver metro area. This leadership role requires ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while mentoring Project Superintendents and coordinating with PMs, subcontractors, and owners.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in commercial construction supervision, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple sites and teams.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Proven experience overseeing commercial construction field operations.
• Experience managing multiple jobsites and/or multiple superintendents.
• Strong understanding of means, methods, scheduling, and sequencing in commercial construction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor field personnel.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel between jobsites in the Denver metro area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations for multiple commercial construction projects across the Denver metro area.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to Project Superintendents.
• Manage and monitor overall project schedules, milestones, and field production.
• Ensure projects progress according to schedule, budget, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and owners.
• Establish site safety, quality control, cleanliness, and productivity expectations.
• Review project schedules and identify potential delays or conflicts; develop recovery plans.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits and provide oversight across multiple active projects.
• Assist Superintendents with field issues and provide solutions.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance.
