New Jersey Resources Corp. seeks a Senior Analyst Field Operations for NJNG to oversee multi-year budgets, forecasts, and reports. The role emphasizes automation, process improvements, and stakeholder collaboration across Field Operations and finance teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in financial/operational analysis, a finance-related degree, and experience in the utility/regulated sector. Location is hybrid, with base compensation shown below and eligibility for incentive programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial and/or operational analysis.
• Utility, energy, or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Advanced analytical and technical skills in data analysis, financial modeling, and enterprise systems.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monthly analysis of budgets and projections, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Prepare senior management and Board level reports and presentations.
• Monitor and coordinate development and implementation of projects supporting Field Operations.
• Serve as subject matter expert for financial meetings and operational reviews.
• Generate ideas for cost reductions and technology solutions.
• Support the establishment of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and provide decision-support information to leadership.
• Develop presentations from concept to completion with SME input.

Education
