Job summary

TEKsystems in Alaska seeks a Field Engineer Sr for a 6-7 month contract at Eielson Air Force Base near Fairbanks. The role pays $44.44/hr and requires US citizenship with 5+ years of related field experience.

You will provide solutions, guide less experienced engineers, and coordinate with customers to install and support distribution systems and networking hardware. Onsite work only. Contract duration may be extended based on project needs.

• Provides solutions to problems and guidance to less experienced field engineers.
• Guides on different types of equipment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Installs more advanced or new technologies based on customer needs.
• Assesses if equipment and systems meet compliance standards.
• Reports findings and provides solutions for issues hindering progress.
• Provides training on product features and specifications.
• Strengthens client relationships by improving interaction with products.
• Coaches/Reviews work of less experienced team members.
