Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is recruiting a Field Network Engineer to support the District Department of Transportation’s ITS network. You will design, deploy, and operate a secure, highly available network spanning field sites and data centers, blending field and datacenter work with a strong emphasis on uptime and safety.
The role requires hands-on DMVPN expertise, Cisco routing, and experience with LTE/5G failover, QoS, and secure overlays.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
- Experience in ITS including traffic signal controllers and CCTV/video transport.
- Experience with LTE/5G failover solutions.
- Conveying technical concepts for a specific specialty.
- Preparing complex technical docs.
Mansioni
- Deploy and support DMVPN hub-and-spoke and spoke-to-spoke networks.
- Configure IPsec VPN, GRE tunnels, and overlay interfaces.
- Implement dynamic routing (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP) over DMVPN.
- Design redundancies with LTE/5G backups for uptime.
- Coordinate Metro Ethernet circuit provisioning and dual-WAN setups.
- Manage VLANs, IP schemas, and Layer 2/3 connectivity between sites.
- Apply QoS and maintain secure, segmented ITS traffic domains.
- Ensure encrypted connections and VPN certificate lifecycle management.
- Travel to field locations; lift and rack equipment up to 50 lbs.
