Job summary

West Virginia Paving, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Field Mechanic for our Dunbar, WV maintenance team. This multi-functional role performs mechanic duties on construction and paving equipment, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years on construction equipment, own tools, ability to read hydraulic/electrical schematics, and welding. Overtime, weekends, and travel may be needed; applicants must pass drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Must provide own tools to utilize in position.
• 5 years experience working on construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Multi-functional position performing mechanic duties on road construction machinery and equipment.
• Maintain and diagnose hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Read and follow written and oral instructions; work with safety policies.
