Job summary

Virginia Paving Company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance and repair on diversified automotive and construction equipment. You will service and repair vehicles, keeping shop and tools organized while following Safety 1st guidelines.

The role requires a minimum of three years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read maintenance procedures. This position is full-time and on-site at our Virginia locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Repair powertrain components including engine, transmission, differentials.
• Diagnose starting, charging, and electrical systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and complete inspection records.
