Role Summary:

The Senior Field Marketing Manager serves as a pivotal strategic leader, tasked with crafting and executing regional marketing programs designed to fuel demand, align with sales objectives, and elevate brand visibility. This role acts as a crucial bridge, connecting overarching corporate marketing strategies with segment-specific execution tactics, thereby ensuring seamless alignment with business goals and customer needs. Our ambition is to evolve this function into a truly strategic partnership—one that not only bolsters our brand presence and deepens customer engagement, but also empowers our sales teams to achieve sustainable, profitable growth. Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Devise and implement segment specific marketing strategies aimed at supporting sales pipeline expansion and new customer acquisition.
    • Ensure field marketing initiatives are seamlessly integrated with national campaigns and product launches.
    • Offer specialized, segment-specific expertise and support, deploying a diverse mix of marketing tactics to deepen customer relationships and fortify our brand.
    • Strive for a minimum of a 20X return on every investment.
  • Sales Activation & Enablement:
    • Collaborate closely with segment specific sales teams to pinpoint market opportunities and customize marketing efforts accordingly.
    • Drive Sales Activation by Segment, providing bespoke support, generating qualified engagement, and accelerating deal velocity within designated target sub-segments.
  • Event & Campaign Management:
    • Orchestrate and execute segment specific events, trade shows, webinars, and partner programs from conception to completion.
    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of campaign execution, encompassing budgeting, logistical coordination, and thorough post-event analysis.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Leverage comprehensive competitive analysis and gather insightful customer feedback to refine marketing strategies and tactical mix.
    • Monitor performance metrics diligently and adjust tactics as necessary to optimize ROI. This will involve a data-driven approach to measuring impact and informing future strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work in close concert with sales, product marketing, digital marketing, and customer success teams.
    • Act as the representative "voice of the field" for corporate teams, providing invaluable feedback and insights.
Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in B2B field marketing, with a distinct preference for backgrounds in the telecommunications or technology sectors.
  • A demonstrated history of successfully driving regional marketing outcomes and effectively supporting sales teams.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal proficiencies.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Outreach, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, DemandBase).
  • Proven ability to operate with agility, a strong data orientation, and a customer-centric mindset.

Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience with channel/partner marketing.
  • Familiarity with telecom technologies and customer segments.
  • A data-driven mindset coupled with robust analytical skills.

Hours/Travel/Shift:

This is largely a remote home office role with travel not expected to be greater than 20%.
