Job summary

Lessen is seeking an experienced Field Maintenance Technician to own maintenance for properties in our portfolio. You will travel regionally, respond to work orders, manage contractor interactions, budgets, and ensure timely, quality repairs in a fast-growing, nationwide portfolio.

We offer a sign-on bonus, quarterly bonuses up to 5% of quarterly earnings, gear and cell allowances, a company fleet vehicle with fuel card, OSHA training, and clear paths for advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable hands-on experience in property maintenance or related trades.
• Able to travel within your region; based 100% in the field.
• Proficient diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing repairs across plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry.
• Proven ability to manage and complete independent work orders, budgeting time/materials, and communicating with contractors/clients.
• Current driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs regularly; up to 75+ lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests.
• Ensure work is completed in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist with scheduling, overseeing, and communicating with contractors for bids and checks.
• Purchase maintenance supplies as needed for properties.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across plumbing, appliances, carpentry, electrical, and related areas.
