Job summary

Lessen is seeking an experienced Field Maintenance Technician to own work orders and oversee property maintenance for a growing portfolio, with a focus on quality customer service. This 100% field-based role requires regional travel and hands-on expertise across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.

You will manage budgets, schedule contractors, and ensure timely completion of tasks while upholding safety standards and OSHA training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable, hands-on experience in property management maintenance, or a related trade.
• Proficiency diagnosing and repairing across trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry).
• Current driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance and repair requests.
• Ensure work is completed in a timely and quality manner.
• Assist with scheduling and communicating with contractors, obtain bids, and verify work.
• Purchase maintenance supplies as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across plumbing, appliances, pool equipment, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior and basic electrical issues.
