Job summary

Whistle Express Car Wash is seeking a senior Maintenance Support Manager who serves as the most senior technical expert within our maintenance organization. This individual contributor role is deployed to strategic, complex projects, diagnosing issues at sites, restoring performance, and developing scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive maintenance experience on complex mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Advanced knowledge of car wash equipment or multi-system automated environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex failures and perform durable repairs in the field.
• Experience supporting major equipment installations, retrofits, recoveries, or reliability projects.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment specs.
• Strong project execution, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in urgent situations.
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems and reporting tools.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to company sites.

Responsibilities

• Deploy to priority sites and strategic maintenance projects requiring advanced technical expertise and hands-on support.
• Diagnose complex or high-impact equipment issues and implement durable corrective actions.
• Perform field-based troubleshooting, repair, commissioning, and optimization of car wash systems.
• Lead the technical workstream for major equipment failures, site recoveries, retrofits, or openings.
• Partner with site teams to stabilize equipment performance, reduce downtime, and improve customer experience.
• Identify root causes, document findings, and translate learnings into repeatable standards.
