Consortio Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to lead engine servicing, repairs and inspections for a global marine and industrial client. This hands-on role demands field leadership in demanding environments and the ability to manage on-site teams across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ experience in engine servicing, strong mechanical knowledge of 2- and 4-stroke engines, and a track record of delivering safe, compliant field work with precise reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in engine servicing or related technical field.
• Hands-on knowledge of 2-stroke and/or 4-stroke engines and inspections.
• Experience leading small teams of engineers or technicians.
• Strong organisational and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead small teams during engine servicing, maintenance and repair projects.
• Oversee engine overhauls, inspections, component repairs and assembly.
• Perform precision measurements, engine testing and crack inspections.
• Prepare service reports, measurements, timesheets and expenses.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure adherence to HSE procedures.
• Plan service jobs, organise tooling and coordinate mobilisation.
• Liaise with customers and service coordinators to ensure delivery.
• Train and support team members on engine maintenance best practices.
