Job summary

PG&E’s Applied Technology Services (ATS) Engineering team in Danville seeks an Engineering Technician II to perform complex laboratory and field assignments, planning and conducting projects of limited scope under supervision.

Under ESC collective bargaining, the role covers testing, repairs, calibrations, and reporting. The position is onsite in Danville, CA, with hourly pay between $63.03 and $70.35, depending on skills, education, and bargaining increases.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent education and/or certifications in technology or related field.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Understanding of quality assurance and control concepts and practices.
• Team leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct complex lab and field projects within a limited scope.
• Coordinate portions of assignments, review and integrate technical work of others.
• Perform tests, repairs, calibrations, and investigations on materials and equipment.
• Prepare reports documenting methods, results, and conclusions.
