Job summary

GM2 Associates, Inc. in Connecticut is seeking a Senior Inspector with a minimum of four years of relevant construction inspection experience to support field and office work on transportation and infrastructure projects.

Applicants must have a BS degree and licensure (CMIT Level 4, NICET II, or a Connecticut PE) or be working toward it; strong record-keeping, communication, and computer skills are required, with experience in AASHTOWare Project and SharePoint preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree required; NICET II, CMIT Level 4, or Connecticut PE license.
• Four years of relevant construction inspection experience.
• Understanding of CTDOT contract administration preferred.
• Record keeping experience including Daily Work Reports and cost tracking.
• Experience with AASHTOWare Project and COMPASS (SharePoint) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring construction activities at job sites in CT.
• Consulting with contractors, consultants, engineers, and project managers regarding plans and specs.
• Assisting Resident Engineers and other inspectors with related tasks.
