Job summary

Alpha 1 Heating & Cooling is seeking a Senior Residential HVAC Service Technician who can solve difficult problems, lead in the field, and operate without handholding. This is a working leadership role — not a title, with escalations and development of less experienced technicians.

You’ll run complex service calls independently, manage challenging field situations, and help set the standard for workmanship and customer experience across the company.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Advanced diagnostic ability across electrical, airflow, controls, and system performance.
• Strong communication and field judgment under pressure.
• Ability to lead, teach, and hold standards without drama or ego.

Responsibilities

• Run complex service calls independently — diagnose, repair, and close.
• Handle escalations and difficult field situations professionally.
• Support and develop less experienced technicians in the field.
• Maintain high standards across workmanship, communication, and customer experience.
• Lead through preparation, professionalism, and execution.
