Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of progressively responsible field supervision experience in heavy civil construction, infrastructure, remote construction, industrial construction, or related operations.
• Demonstrated experience directly supervising construction crews and coordinating field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and other project documents.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn project-specific systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate Foremen, craft personnel, and subcontractors performing assigned work.
• Organize daily field activities in accordance with project schedules, work plans, and direction from the Superintendent.
• Translate project plans and daily priorities into clear assignments for crews.
• Coordinate sequencing and interfaces between crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Monitor daily production and work progress and communicate status to the Superintendent.
• Identify field constraints, delays, constructability issues, and resource needs and communicate them promptly to project leadership.
• Maintain productivity and quality expectations while ensuring work is performed safely.
• Travel extensively throughout Alaska as required to support project execution.
