Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Field Training Exercise Planner at Camp Smith, Honolulu, HI to support USINDOPACOM J73. You will orchestrate the Joint Exercise Life Cycle and execute designated J-731 exercises in the Warfighting Exercises Branch, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure resources and schedules align with senior guidance.

International travel up to 20% may be required; target efforts include KEEN SWORD, TALISMAN SABER, NORTHERN EDGE, with on-site collaboration and thorough planning discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; 4 more years acceptable in lieu of degree.
• JPME Phase I completed; 2 years on joint HQ staff acceptable in lieu of JPME.
• Thorough knowledge of JELC and FTX planning and execution.
• Experience in operations management with timeline oversight.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, monitor and assess high-end exercises for USINDOPACOM.
• Maintain action plans, milestones, orders, briefs and planning deliverables.
• Coordinate with staff and organizations to ensure proper personnel and assets.
• Develop and maintain efficient exercise planning protocols and procedures.
• Lead exercise work groups and IPRs with senior leaders.
• Manage J731 exercise information sites and RFIs.
