Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer to support COLUMBIA/Dreadnought Navigation subsystems from Barrow-in-Furness, UK. Expatriate assignment, relocation support may be provided, with travel to U.S. sites as needed.

The role requires coordinating with U.S. home office engineers, PMs, and field staff on SITP lifecycle, installation, testing, and maintenance activities. Requires TS clearance and by design 3+ years in the UK.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Willing to reside in the United Kingdom for 3 years as an expatriate.
• Experience with navigation principles and inertial applications.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical and engineering support during SITP lifecycle for navigation subsystem.
• Coordinate with US home office staff, engineers, and program management.
• Plan, install, test, and troubleshoot shipyard procedures and SITP activities.
• Maintain reliability and perform preventive maintenance on subsystems.

Connaissances

Active DoD Secret clearance

Willing to reside in UK

Navigation principles experience

Physical ability to access submarines

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science
