Job summary

Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, seeks a Senior Field Engineer to own turnkey project delivery on building automation systems. You will lead technical delivery, mentor field staff, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers across diverse environments.

Expect travel to client sites and a focus on safe, high-performance system execution. You will apply deep proficiency with ALC products, system architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines to deliver end-to-end

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years hands-on Building Automation or HVAC Controls experience.
• Valid Driver's License and insurability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Comfort with climbing, ladders, and working at height.

Responsibilities

• Own install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems.
• Develop sequencing, graphics, and alarms for full software solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians on site.
• Serve as trusted advisor to customers ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to manage risk and align execution.
• Coordinate cross-team communication for reliable delivery.
• Travel as needed and adapt to shifting project priorities.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines.
• Maintain thorough commissioning documentation and progress tracking.
