Job summary

Enterris Associates seeks a seasoned Resident Engineer to lead on-site construction management for city street and park improvement projects across Los Angeles-area jurisdictions. You will act as the Owner's representative, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in public works/streets projects, a California PE license, and the ability to work in person and commute to project offices.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer or construction management on public works, streets, or transit projects.
• PE license in California required; familiarity with City/County/Caltrans standards.
• Ability to work in person and commute to project office.
• Experience with office/field coordination and standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner's on-site representative for contract administration and lead the field construction management team.
• Oversee roadway, sidewalk, ADA, and park improvement construction including utilities and signals.
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedules; coordinate with design team and Owner.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, permits, and safety standards; manage closeout and documentation.
