Antora Energy seeks a Senior Field Engineer to join the Operations & Maintenance team at the POET Big Stone TES facility in Big Stone City, SD. This role focuses on improving and maintaining HeatCore modules and balance-of-plant systems, with most time spent on site.

You will lead field issue identification, RCAs, and end-to-end resolutions, coordinating with controls, mechanical, EHS, and product development to drive durable improvements and reliable plant performance.

Competenze

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related engineering.
• 7+ years in field engineering, commissioning, or plant operations.
• Proven ability to lead troubleshooting from identification through implementation.
• Experience with RCA methodologies (8D, 5-Why).

Mansioni

• Maintain sustained on-site presence at the Big Stone facility to understand plant performance and failure modes.
• Identify, document, and prioritize major field issues and drive to verified resolution.
• Lead end-to-end resolution: scope, engineer solutions, procure parts, implement on site.
• Conduct formal root cause analyses for field incidents leveraging structured methods.
• Coordinate with O&M TPM, Product Development Reliability Engineer, and Responsible Engineers to feed learnings back into the engineering roadmap.
• Support maintenance staff in executing corrective and preventive work orders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures based on field experience.
