Job summary

Prism Maritime, LLC in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking Field Engineer I or II to support installation, testing, and equipment integration on naval vessels. You will provide senior technical support to the Project Manager, lead tasks, identify components, and assist in design and documentation under military standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience for Level I.
• 2
• Non-degreed personnel must have seven years of technical experience in installation, modification, operation and repair.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of Installation Design Packages.
• Identifies problem areas and provides reports and notices.
• Develops technical manuals and specifications for systems and equipment.
• Analyzes and corrects causes of equipment failures.
• Researches and selects pertinent equipment and materials.
• Conducts briefings and presentations.
• Performs engineering, quality, and safety audits/inspections.
• Provides technical expertise and support on installation and production.
• Conducts pre and post installation testing.
• Provides project status reports including EVM metrics.
