Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee safety, compliance, and contractor management on transit projects in California. This onsite role requires a PE license in California, a decade of project management experience, and supervisory leadership to ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The position involves documenting as-built conditions, managing daily diaries, and coordinating with Client and Accenture leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or another related field.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in California (PE CA).
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Construction Management on transit projects of at least $30 million.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience managing major construction contracts.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of Accenture, client and public by observing operations and taking corrective action when needed.
• Review contractor operations for CAL OSHA compliance.
• Maintain complete project records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and review contract change orders to align with plans and budgets.
• Document as-built conditions and monitor schedule and budget.
• Assist in resolving contractor disputes and prepare draft claim reports when required.
• Perform constructability reviews and provide design package comments.
