Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead transit and public infrastructure programs onsite with clients and partners. You’ll ensure safety, oversee budgets, schedules, and quality, and manage contractor performance on multi-million dollar projects.

The role requires a California-registered PE, at least 10 years in construction management for large transit contracts, and 3+ years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or another related field.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in California.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Construction Management on transit projects of at least $30 million.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in the management of major, construction contracts of similar size and scope.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of Accenture and Client employees, State employees, Contractor employees, and the traveling public by observing contractor operations and traffic conditions, making recommendations, and taking corrective action when necessary.
• Review contractor operations for compliance with CAL OSHA regulations.
• Maintain accurate and complete project records and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Monitor the project schedule and budget, and report as required to executive leadership.
• Prepare contract change orders for making alterations, deviations, additions, or deletions to the plans and specifications to ensure proper completion or construction of the contract.
• Onsite at client site to enable delivery and cultivate client relationships.
