Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Principal Field Engineer based in Buffalo, NY. You will join a field engineering team providing on-site support to resolve system-level issues on delivered hardware, focusing on EW and radar equipment.

Expect substantial travel (up to 75%) domestically and internationally. You will conduct training, troubleshoot complex systems, and generate clear status reports for customers and internal teams, interacting with product and engineering groups to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in a technical field with related years of experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, integrating and upgrading EW simulators.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic instruments like spectrum analyzers and phase network analyzers.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to resolve customer-reported system issues on delivered hardware.
• Conduct trainings and briefings for customers and vendors.
• Maintain operation of EW stimulators and related hardware.
• Write detailed status reports for customers and management.
• Collaborate across teams to identify solutions to problems.
