Job summary

You will respond to service calls, read drawings, ensure NEC compliance, mentor Apprentice Technicians, and support after-hours and emergency requests. The role requires a Texas Journeyman license and a clean driving record, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of coursework in electrical theory, construction trades, or a related field preferred.
• Active Texas Journeyman Electrician’s License required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and service electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Respond to service calls and identify root causes, implementing NEC-compliant solutions.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including panels, circuits, lighting, and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, one-line diagrams, and specifications.
• Explain issues and recommended repairs to customers and provide maintenance guidance.
