Barton Malow is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to support solar and wind projects throughout the Great Lakes Region as part of our Renewable Energy Team. This traveling role requires full‑time onsite work at project locations and extensive travel.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of electrical construction supervision, a strong background in utility‑scale renewable energy systems, and proven leadership for safe, high‑quality, and efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent field experience.
• 4+ years of electrical construction with field supervision.
• Experience with utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar/wind).
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, installations, and construction practices.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite full-time.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for electrical construction on renewable energy projects.
• Enforce jobsite safety per policies and standards.
• Supervise electrical crews and subcontractors to meet schedules.
• Ensure installations meet design, code, and client requirements.
• Lead field planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with management, engineering, and subs to resolve issues.
• Review submittals, drawings, and installation plans for constructability.
• Monitor scope productivity, costs, and material usage.
• Coordinate material deliveries and onsite resources.
• Support QA/QC, inspections, and turnover docs.
• Participate in BIM coordination and resolve clashes.
• Maintain client and inspector communication for success.
• Mentor field personnel and promote a positive culture.
• Support company initiatives and teamwork.
