Job summary

Divcon Controls is seeking a Senior Field DDC Engineer to lead deployment, commissioning, and optimization of Delta Controls DDC systems for data centers. The role is hands-on with GCL+ programming and enteliWEB deployment, guiding Field DDC Engineers while ensuring project success.

The engineer will independently lead complex DDC implementations, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement, with travel 50–60% and no direct people management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on DDC programming or building automation experience with Delta Controls focus
• Expert knowledge of Delta Controls GCL+ programming and enteliWEB deployment
• Extensive experience commissioning BAS/BMS/EPMS in field environments
• Advanced knowledge of BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, and network config
• Strong troubleshooting across DDC, networking, and integrations
• Ability to lead complex technical projects without direct supervisory responsibility
• Willingness to travel 50–60%
• OSHA 10 certification (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Lead development, configuration, deployment, and commissioning of Delta Controls DDC systems for data center applications
• Program advanced GCL+ control logic including HVAC sequences and alarms
• Configure enteliWEB environments with graphics, dashboards, and user roles
• Develop controller databases, I/O structures, and network configurations
• Lead integration with PLCs, Ignition SCADA, Kepware, OPC UA, BACnet, Modbus, and others
• Troubleshoot communications, data integrity, and hardware issues
• Validate system functionality through commissioning and customer acceptance
• Mentor Field DDC Engineers and provide technical leadership
• Coordinate with Project Managers and customers during deployments
• Identify risks and mitigate engineering dependencies
• Support design decisions and technical problem solving
