Job summary

Novartis AG is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (Sr CRA) for a field-based, remote opportunity mainly in the western United States. The role requires 80% travel and focuses on monitoring Phase I–IV trials, ensuring data integrity, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will manage site relationships, conduct ICH/GCP compliant monitoring, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive trial success.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience in site monitoring.
BS/BA degree in Scientific, Healthcare or related field.
Strong knowledge of drug development, ICH/GCP and FDA/EMEA.
Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary site manager and main point of contact for site staff and Novartis.
Monitor according to ICH/GCP, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site initiation visits and provide ongoing training for site personnel.
Perform on-site and remote monitoring to ensure data quality and patient safety.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficient study execution.
Identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate as needed.
