Job summary

Shaw Construction in Denver seeks a Senior Field Superintendent to lead on-site construction for multi-million dollar ground-up projects. You will organize, supervise and schedule activities to deliver on time, on budget, and to the required quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, managing subcontractors, implementing safety programs, and driving QA/QC through Shaw's 1-2-3 Quality Control process while maintaining thorough project documentation and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of building construction experience at superintendent level for ground-up projects $20M–$100M.

Responsibilities

• Study and understand contract documents to properly execute work.
• Organize and lead division of work among on-site Shaw team.
• Review subcontractor scopes and coordinate with PM.
• Develop site planning, logistics, build strategy and procedures.
• Develop and implement the Shaw 1-2-3 Quality Control program.
• Maintain on-site copy of record of documents, including drawings, specs, submittals and As-Built drawings.
• Coordinate permits and inspections with authorities, and manage submittal reviews and RFIs.
• Mentor field superintendents and engineers.
