Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Construction Manager for the Power Constructors, Inc. sector to direct field operations across Nevada.

You will act as the Owner’s representative, overseeing transmission facilities construction, managing safety, schedule, budget, and quality, and coordinating with contractors and vendors on site. The role demands 12+ years of field experience, proficiency with MS Office/Projects, and Primavera P6, with readiness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or closely related discipline or demonstrated proven equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in transmission operations, substation operations, Construction, Engineering, or equivalent education.
• Knowledge and track record in transmission construction work, foundation installation, structure assembly/erection, wire stringing/sagging, and related facilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Owner’s representative on the project areas.
• Oversee all aspects of transmission facilities construction to meet budget, schedule and quality goals.
• Coordinate and report on construction work performed by contractors and vendors at the project site.
• Lead the field services team and interface with the client.
• Ensure safety and compliance with environmental and OSHA regulations.
• Prepare and manage budgets and cost tracking reports.
• Handle change management, submittals, and schedule management.
• Travel extensively as project requires.
