Qualifications

• Associates degree in relevant field and 6 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field and 4 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs office management engineer work including preparation of change orders, review of scope, schedule and cost; tracks RFIs, submittals, pay estimates and other deliverables; assists in constructability reviews.
• Inspects, monitors, and oversees construction field work on a project to ensure conformance to plans and specifications; reads and confirms compliance with contract documents.
• Performs or oversees on-site material testing; determines material requirements; tracks quantities and prepares pay estimates; ensures procedures meet plans and specifications.
• Initiates field changes to drawings and specifications; identifies discrepancies or conflicts in documents.
• Reviews contractor’s daily construction reports for accuracy and thoroughness.
• Maintains as-constructed drawings and monitors progress against schedule.
• Consults with Resident Engineer on progress and problems; recommends solutions and acts as liaison with engineer of record.
• Remains current with industry technology; utilizes GPS/Rovers to increase inspection efficiency.
• Mentors and trains staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
