Enterprise Products Partners L.P. in Mont Belvieu, Texas seeks a Senior Communications Technician to provide regional telecom field support. You will install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot voice, data, SCADA, video, microwave and satellite systems while supporting local projects and on-call coverage.

Travel up to 10% and training for field staff are included. The role requires a strong independent work ethic, 7+ years in telecom maintenance, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Associate's degree in Electronics or 7 years of equivalent experience in electronics.
• FCC license preferred.
• CCNA certification a plus.
• 7+ years of telecommunications installation/maintenance experience.
• Experience with phone/microwave systems installation and maintenance a plus.
• Able to use test equipment/software to support field telecom systems.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication with internal/external teams/clients.
• Physical ability to work outdoors and safely operate a vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting for voice, data, SCADA, video, microwave and satellite systems and related infrastructure.
• Assist projects group with implementation of project-related systems.
• Direct local contractors in installation and maintenance of telecom systems.
• Provide support and first-level training to field operations personnel.
• Serve as first-level liaison between field operations and IT organization.
• Drive field standards and provide feedback to the communications engineering team.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support.
• Travel up to 10%.
