Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to perform final testing, startup, and commissioning of low and medium voltage distribution equipment in field and manufacturing environments.

The role requires understanding of electrical test systems, coordination with teams, and occasional travel to customer sites. Strong writing skills and knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of relevant electrical experience with an associate's degree.
• 6+ years of relevant electrical experience with a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assists more experienced Commissioning specialist coordinating, and reviewing electrical deliverables.
• Prepares and reviews simple electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets.
• Performs simple routine electrical calculations.
• Assists in review of supplier documentation for compliance with specifications.
• Willing to travel to customer sites periodically.
