The Senior Field Applications Specialist (FAS) is responsible for validating new Hematology instrument installations to ensure they meet Beckman Coulter and customer requirements. This role is part of the Service Organization, located in Texas, and will be fully remote. Our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will work within the Field Applications team, reporting to the Technical Applications Supervisor. Your primary responsibility is to work directly with customer Key Operators during validation, reinforce training, and ensure staff are prepared to operate and maintain instrumentation. The FAS addresses customer questions regarding instrument operation and assay performance, adhering to specifications and regulatory standards. Collaboration with Tech Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams is essential. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Prepare customers for and conduct validation studies on instrumentation, including setup, calibration, precision, and method comparisons.
• Provide onsite and remote support for assay and QC questions, including training on instrument operation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• An Associate's degree with at least 3 years of experience in laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or related fields.
• Strong understanding of the Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry, especially Laboratory Regulatory environments.
• Willingness to work remotely and travel domestically up to 80%, with a good driving record due to travel needs.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in medical technology.
• Knowledge of Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, COLA).
