Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics (MSD) seeks a Senior Manager, Field Application Support to lead a regional team of field application scientists, drive performance, identify growth opportunities, and ensure adherence to company policies while delivering scientific support to account managers and customers.

The role emphasizes mentoring FAS staff, coordinating with sales and marketing, presenting scientific seminars at customer sites, and preparing reports from assay development visits and evaluations;

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences or related field required; advanced degree optional with equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years in field application or scientific support.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in molecular biology/biochemistry labs.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional team of field application scientists and mentor managers.
• Train new FAS staff and ensure performance reviews.
• Provide scientific support to account managers and customers.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing to resolve customer issues.
• Present seminars at customer sites and conferences.
• Create reports from assay development visits and evaluations.
