Job summary

TE Connectivity’s Field Application Engineering teams work with customers to recommend products and solutions for new and existing applications. The selected engineer will be a key interface between TE and customers, providing technical expertise, design work, and product application information.

This role offers remote flexibility but requires candidates to be based in the Bay Area or open to relocating to the Bay Area, with travel expected regionally to support programs.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering and 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel regionally as required.
• Experience reading production drawings and tolerance analysis.
• Knowledge of connectors, electronics relays, and wire & cable products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical interface between customer and TE Engineering.
• Provide technical guidance on existing products and new development opportunities.
• Support customer projects with design modeling, test studies and signal integrity analyses.
• Coordinate with cross-functional TE teams to meet customer needs and project timelines.
• Travel to customer sites as required to support programs.
