Job summary

Rambus in the United States is seeking a PE Field Application Engineer to join its Sales team. You will work with engineers to develop products that speed and secure data, and to provide expert design support for Rambus memory and PMIC solutions.

The role combines deep technical engagement with customer-facing activities, such as reference design reviews and solution presentations, and requires strong collaboration across field, product, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of RCD/PMIC experience.
• Experience with JEDEC memory standard and memory subsystem specs preferred.
• Ability to interface directly with customers and solve problems.
• Strong analytical, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Rambus revenue growth through technical activities.
• Develop solid technical understanding of Rambus products and solutions.
• Provide deep technical support to customers for Rambus products (RCD, CKD, PMIC, SPD, TS).
• Provide design support including schematic and PCB layout review.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow Rambus business.
• Gather market moves and competitor activities for Rambus strategy.
