    We have an immediate opening for a “Senior Field Application Engineer (m/f/d)”.

    The Senior Field Applications Engineer (FAE) will be responsible for supporting EMEA sales growth by providing pre-sales technical support for all VTI products and assisting the salespeople close business. The FAE will help customers with Test System design and educate them on VTI products. This role requires a high level of technical and industry know-how, customer-facing experience, business acumen and positive attitude helping VTI establish themselves a trusted technical advisor to our key customers.

    What tasks await you with us?

    • Train and educate customers on the company’s products and provide selling strategy assistance specific to an industry, market, or account.
    • Understanding customer applications and pains, preparing and delivering presentations, demonstrations, and application examples in customer meetings, seminars, and other public events.
    • Helping customers design detailed test strategies and application specific software/hardware architectures, managing product evaluations and developing adoption plans that assist customers in specifying VTI products.
    • Partnering with sales representatives to help develop account and territory level selling strategies in order to achieve market share growth and maximize sales revenue and profitability.
    • Advocate for the future direction of VTI products based on customer interactions and industry insight.
    • Establish rapport and credibility with our customers across multiple hierarchy levels to build champion users and supporters of our solutions.
    • Provide input to Product Marketing, Engineering and Operations teams to help direct the development of new products that reflect market trends and customer needs.

    What do we expect from you?

    • BS/MS in Electrical or Electronics or Computer Engineering, other relevant technical degree, or equivalent experience.
    • Industry and hardware knowledge and experience of Data Acquisition and Functional Testing products and ATE systems.
    • Working knowledge of standards such LXI & PXI.
    • Self-directed and independent work ethic; measure and report progress against defined objectives.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and the highest level of business ethics.
    • Detail-oriented problem-solving skills; objective approach to analysis and total business impact.
    • 2-3 years of experience in a customer facing role.
    • Ability to travel as much as 50% but also comfortable with frequent customer interactions by phone and/or video, if face-to-face is not possible.
    • English speaking, reading & writing.
