Job summary

Xero is seeking a Senior Account Executive to serve as a strategic partner for large and mid-tier accounting practices in Illinois. You will drive net new business, guide digital migrations to the Xero platform, and help partners grow their client base and revenue.

You will own your territory, travel for client visits across Illinois, and operate in a hybrid model with autonomous scheduling. The role emphasizes relationship-building, sales targets, and fintech education.

Qualifications

• Experience in field account management with large or mid-tier accounting practices.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Interest in fintech and ability to educate others on digital resources.
• Independent, process-oriented and detail-focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop formal engagement plans and project strategies to support partner migrations.
• Drive adoption and revenue growth across your territory of accounting and bookkeeping partners.
• Manage a consistent cycle of appointments and meetings within your territory to drive and deepen an online strategy.
• Recruit, educate, and grow your partner base by delivering events and certification training.
• Use Salesforce to maintain accurate data and ensure excellence in forecasting and territory management.
