Andersen Corporation is seeking a Fibrex Extruder Operator to run extrusion machinery in a production cell. You will set up profiles, monitor SPC data, and adjust operations to meet specs while ensuring safe, efficient performance.

Responsibilities include training new operators, loading materials, inspecting parts, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills – keyboarding, Windows.
• Developing leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Tend to and operate extrusion machines in a work cell per the production schedule.
• Set-up and start-up any profile for all machines in a work cell.
• Analyze SPC data to determine specs.
• Adjust machine operation based on production data.
• Trouble-shoot standard problems per defined process; refer complex issues to support.
• Train new Fibrex Extruder Operators.
• Load fibrex and capping into hoppers.
• Evaluate part conformance to appearance requirements and stack profiles.
• Tear down and clean up any profiles.
• Identify and communicate when technical support is needed.
• Participate in 6S activities and maintain safety.
• Lead kaizen events and sustain improvements.
