Job summary

Network Connex is seeking a hands-on Program Director to lead a large-scale turnkey fiber infrastructure program. You will be the single point of accountability for program performance, guiding engineering, permitting, materials, construction, testing, and customer acceptance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in telecom or OSP programs, excels at cross-functional leadership, and can manage complex schedules, budgets, and risk while maintaining strong executive-level communication with customers

Qualifications

• Over 10 years leading telecom, fiber, OSP, or large-scale construction programs.
• Proven ability to manage multi-route deployments with executive reporting.
• Strong program governance and risk/change management.
• Hands-on, execution-focused leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.
• Willingness to work from Dallas office and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the turnkey program delivery across engineering, permitting, materials, construction, testing, closeout, and acceptance.
• Set program cadence with executive reviews, customer updates, and milestone reviews.
• Own schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, and milestone performance.
• Drive problem solving to remove roadblocks and keep routes on track.
• Coordinate engineering release, constructability review, and readying for field work.
• Maintain a master schedule with look-ahead planning and recovery actions.
• Communicate program status to customer leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage resources and subcontractors to meet schedule and quality targets.
• Oversee safety, quality, testing, and closeout documentation.
