Job summary

PTR Global in Minneapolis seeks an experienced Project Manager (OSP/Fiber) to lead end-to-end fiber deployment programs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and drive market launches with the local stakeholders.

In-market presence is required to accelerate execution and resolve issues. The role demands 5–10 years of senior PM experience in network infrastructure, strong leadership, and the ability to deliver complex fiber builds on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of senior technical project/program management experience, preferably in network/infrastructure.
• Experience leading large-scale fiber optic deployments (plan and build phases).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external partners to on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Strong risk, issue, dependency, and resource management with mitigation strategies.
• Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for end-to-end management of multiple projects within Network.
• Maintain in-market presence to support execution and stakeholder alignment.
• Define scope, objectives, success criteria, estimates, dependencies, and strategy for fiber deployments.
• Develop work plans, schedules, and instrumentation to track milestones and costs.
• Lead status meetings; prepare executive updates on progress and risks.
• Identify risks and issues, drive timely resolution within constraints.
• Manage internal/external teams, suppliers, and general contractors to meet plan.
