Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or an associate degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• HS diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of AEP telecommunications networks and fiber infrastructure to resolve issues.
• Develop and improve telecommunications standards and procedures.
• Ensure all activities comply with policies, safety rules and regulatory requirements.
• Lead complex telecommunications and fiber network projects with stakeholders.
• Perform advanced fiber splicing, testing, and network commissioning.
• Coordinate project scopes, estimates, and documentation.
