Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Senior Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer to drive New Product Development, process development, and manufacturing readiness for fiber optic products. This role is based on-site in Arden, NC with collaboration across TE manufacturing sites; occasional travel may be required to support process development, qualification, and launch activities.

Domestic relocation being offered.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–10 years of hands-on manufacturing, process development, or NPI experience.
• Experience with machine, equipment and process design, development, and deployment into production.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge; Green or Black Belt is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Must work effectively in remote teams with broad geographic footprints.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing engineering deliverables for NPI and process development.
• Lead or support qualification, launch, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Influence early product design with DFM input to improve manufacturability.
• Develop robust processes, tooling, and equipment solutions for fiber optic products.
• Provide technical support across TE facilities and collaborate on cost estimates.
