Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering; MS preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience with RF/microwave, transceivers and high-speed electronics is expected

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to design and develop fiber optic transceivers.
• Analyze, model, simulate, and measure optical and electrical performance, ensuring product quality and reliability.
• Work with firmware, optical, mechanical, and process engineers to align product development with customer requirements.
• Apply deep understanding of electrical engineering to address RF, power, noise, control, thermal, and EMI challenges.
• Create drawings, BOMs, and ECOs to document the design and communicate with stakeholders.
• Interact with program managers, buyers/planners, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of parts for engineering and pilot builds.
• Resolve DFMs with process/production and suppliers for smooth manufacturing.
• Conduct transceiver design reviews for architectural, EVT, and DVT phases.
• Stay updated with industry trends in optical transceivers to drive continuous improvement
