Comlink Solutions is a fiber solutions company providing fiber optic cabling and splicing services. We seek splicers with long haul and OPGW experience to join our team and travel as required. The position emphasizes fiber splicing, testing, safety, and travel across multiple markets, with a strong focus on quality and professional growth.

Formación

• Technical degree in line work or fiber engineering or the equivalent in training and/or work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated splicing work experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OPGW processes and procedures.
• Experience knowledge using Fujikura fusion splicing equipment, and OTDR testing equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret splicing documents and network designs for each job.
• Perform fusion splicing and complete testing as required (OPGW).
• Travel to assigned job locations and complete testing and closeout packages for routes.
• Access panels in manholes/hand holes as needed.
• Identify fiber types and determine fibers to be used.
• Document splicing records and job site notes.
• Follow all safety standards and company procedures.
• Operate and maintain tools and vehicles as required.
• Perform OTDR testing and learn current splicing techniques.
• Protect company confidential information and perform other duties as assigned.
