Job summary

Rhythm Careers is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with a strong FF&E focus in New York, NY. You will lead FF&E from concept to installation, develop custom furniture, lighting, and millwork, and manage procurement and vendor relationships.

You will mentor junior designers, present concepts to clients, and help manage timelines and budgets. Travel may be required depending on the project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of interior design experience in a studio.
• Strong FF&E design, sourcing and procurement skills.
• Excellent knowledge of European and international vendors preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Studio Designer for procurement and docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FF&E design process from concept through procurement and installation.
• Develop custom furniture, lighting, and millwork designs.
• Manage sourcing, specification, and procurement of FF&E packages.
• Maintain relationships with domestic and European vendors.
• Oversee and mentor junior/intermediate designers.
• Work with clients and present design concepts; manage timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with the design team on technical drawings and documentation.
