Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a Senior Consultant – FEMA in our Government Services Practice to support FEMA-funded programs and compliance activities across state and local disaster recovery efforts.

The role emphasizes audit readiness, financial management, and closeout support, with opportunities to contribute to proposals and funding opportunities. Travel to client locations and firm offices may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in state/local disaster recovery administering FEMA funds
• Knowledge of FEMA disaster programs, statutes, regulations, policies and processes, and related compliance/financial management
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Safety, Emergency Management, Disaster Management or related field

Responsibilities

• Support clients in maintaining compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200, including audit readiness and gaps
• Assist with closeout of multiple open disasters and expedites processes
• Support client financial management, including time and cost accounting, cost tracking and reconciliation
• Help determine method of program implementation and ensure timely development of deliverables
• Engage in business development activities and respond to proposals and funding opportunities
